Oh, you’d certainly have plenty of space here… you can also dine al fresco as the restaurant spills out on to a lovely terrace with fabulous views of the estate.

It’s carrying through into our travel. The sort of space that Casa Pamela has appeals to me now far more than it did before the pandemic.

I’ve been to the carriages museum in Lisbon on a previous visit, but not a tiles one. I see you are right, though… the National Tile Museum in the Madredeus region of the city.

Yes, that’s the Troia peninsula that you can see in the picture. Praia da Comenda is the closest beach – it’s a walk of about 3kms.

I don’t know where you’re based, Roxii… but flights from London to Lisbon start from just £89 return in July (actually from Luton with Wizzair, 10-17 July), and from less than £50 return in October with Ryanair.

Hi Natasha – it’s actually a natural park, rather than a national park (I think the key distinction between the two is that natural parks are managed locally rather than nationally). Portugal has just one national park (Peneda-Gerês National Park) and 13 natural parks.
