Opening up a resort in Oman had to be a shrewd move, I can’t remember seeing too many good quality golf courses on my travels through Oman. It’s a country with immense potential for tourist expansion, especially as it seems to have survived the death of the Sultan without too much turmoil.

No surprise really that IHG is adding so many rooms as Portuguese tourism keeps on growing.

I’m a real sucker for an infinity pool. I’ve booked far too many hotels on their pics of infinity pools.

If it’s going to become a haven for Hollywood celebrities again I probably won’t be able to stay for too many nights.

I’ll have to take a look.

I’ve got a feeling that the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is probably going to hit new culinary heights.

I remember at the start of the COVID pandemic with all those passengers trapped on all those ships that this would be the end of cruising. And yet every month we herd about new ships being commissioned or launched.
